I dont think I need to say much more.. There terms and conditions just tell you up front that you will be contacted by FAKE or AUTOMATED user replies. hahah

I am guessing its only a matter of time before the government takes a harder look at these adult companies who send fake im’s, fake profiles and take action against them. Might be a year or two or more but the party will end one of these days.

In defense of dating sites, spammers tend to run rampant on them trying to sell them cams or other dating sites so SOME of the email spam dating members get on dating sites is NOT from the site owner but truly just spammers trying to sell them something.

But that is TOTALLY different than the adult dating sites that send you 15 messages (from hot looking chicks who happen to be local) within a few hours after you sign up (or after your memebership expires) EVEN IF you create a profile that has nothing more than “adasdadas asdasda” and no picture. IMO that is blatant fraud and misrepresentation no matter what you have in your terms.

Please also note, I am not singling out ANY single adult dating site and the above are just my opinions from joining with sample profiles on various adult dating services. Carry on…

I saw a few threads on GFY about low stats for the past 2 weeks, which is consistent with IE7 gaining more penetration among surfers. One cause of the possible low signups is IE7 includes an easy to use History Cleaner as a one click button now, which makes clearing cookies very easy.

Another possible angle is this. I just got this email from a mainstream affiliate company who tracks via cookies just like ccbill:

We have received reports of affiliates’ links not being tracked on sales, and affiliates not receiving credit for sales they have promoted. We are continuing to investigate these reports, but our findings to-date point to customers that have Spybot Search & Destroy, with ?Immunize? enabled on their computers.

While we are making every effort to understand and address these reports, in looking at our sales statistics, we find that affiliate-driven sales as a percentage of total sales has been increasing from the beginning of 2006, and that rate of increase has remained steady.

Just something to consider and possibly look into.

I think the .xxx is nothing more than a racket by outsiders trying to find a way to profit off the adult industry without getting their hands dirty.

It serves ZERO purpose. I have yet to see one valid reason for this extension to exist beyond making the people behind it more money. There is ONE key point in getting an extension approved. It MUST get support from the industry it is attempting to enter. It is VERY clear NO ONE i know supports this extension and the only people backing it on the ICANN site are what appear to be made up names of webmasters nobody has ever heard of.

I think this whole things smells bad and I am against even them speaking at the XBiz show. By them having a panel at XBiz show, even if it turns out negative, they will still use the fact that we ALLOWED them to be there as a notion of acceptance. I really see no good that can come from them showing up and communicating with us.

Everything that has come out of their mouth to date has been rubbish. When they talk to people on the other side of the fence they state contradicting statements. Since commenting is now over, I hope this bad dream ends soon with ICANN saying “No” once again. Little has changed in terms of webmasters acceptance since the last time around, so even though .xxx changed a few small things in their documents it should still be a RESOUNDING “No”!

After much hype over the past few months from DJ Airek, CaseyParker.com finally was released to the public on 02/01/2007. I think Dickmans did a GREAT job on the design and I think Airek did a GREAT job branding her and hyping her up months before release. IMO Airek is probably the best marketer in adult as he did a great job getting the name RageCash in front of webmasters eyeballs when he worked there and has done the same with CaseyParker. I have not promoted it yet but plan to do so in the near future as time permits.
